John Neustadt, ND

"Foundations and Applications of Medical Biochemistry in Clinical Practice"

Dr. Neustadt discusses a clinical model for evaluating and treating patients with chronic disease. He will discuss the pathophysiology of numerous diseases, including depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Nacrolepsy, IBS and other conditions, along with their conventional diagnoses and comorbidities. He'll reframe the discussion of these disorders as a continuum of pathophysiological dysfunction that becomes clear when evaluated from the perspective of biochemical pathways and dysfunction, medical biochemistry and functional medicine. Clinicians will learn how to evaluate patients, create treatment plans and manage patients using functional testing to identify and correct the underlying causes of these disorders. Clinicians are encouraged to bring cases for discussion.
