A doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, wellness coach, and nutritional counselor for over 30 years, Dr. Schnyer is a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, a sensitive healer, passionate about the transformative potential of natural therapies. Rosa combines acupuncture, life-style counseling, and nutritional education with the targeted use of botanicals, Chinese herbs and nutritional supplements. Her work focuses on nurturing each individual's innate ability for healing, cultivating mindfulness and harnessing the mind body relationship to manage debilitating symptoms, alleviating physical and emotional pain, and changing the trajectory of chronic illness. Dr. Schnyer is Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Texas,adjunct faculty at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and research consultant to Stanford University and Harvard Medical School. She is also a mindfulness meditation and Dharma Yoga Instructor.
