Inquiries, Applications, Acceptances, Rejections, Enrollees

  • In 2008, AOMA had more than 900 inquiries about the acupuncture school. 
    Of these inquires, 70 individuals applied to the program.  89% were accepted.
  • In 2009, AOMA had more than 800 inquiries about the acupuncture school. 
    Of these inquires, 90 individuals applied to the program, and  81% were accepted.
  • In 2010, AOMA had almost 1,000 inquiries about the acupuncture school.  
    Of these inquiries, 89 individuals applied to the program, and 92% were accepted.
  • In 2011, AOMA had more than 1,000 inquiries about the acupuncture school.  
    Of these inquiries, 84 individuals applied to the program, and 94% were accepted.
  • In 2012, AOMA had almost 1,000 inquiries about the acupuncture school.  
    Of these inquiries, 83 individuals applied to the program, and 95% were accepted.

New students to AOMA are highly qualified, with 95% possessing either a bachelor or advanced degree.  These students come from a variety of backgrounds including science, art, and medicine.
