During his twelve years at the Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital in Chengdu, China, Luo was entitled an “Excellent Doctor,” an honor bestowed on only 10 of the 2000 doctors in the hospital. He taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Chengdu University of TCM, and gave lectures to a variety of audiences including local doctors, patients, and foreign doctors from more than 15 countries in Europe, America and Asia. He has been a professional interpreter for the Chengdu University of TCM as well as for international medical delegations. Luo’s research experience includes effects of electro-acupuncture on alzheimer’s disease, and the use of acupuncture and herbal treatments on cerebral hemorrhage. Luo has been a faculty member and clinical supervisor at AOMA since 2005.
