All AOMA graduates enjoy the following benefits:
AOMA Library Access: AOMA campus library access and borrowing privileges.
Online EBSCO Journal Access: AOMA provides to alumni this online journal, which includes over 1700 journals and other professional publications via access through our library computers or from a personal computer at home. Contact the library for password.
Discounts at AOMA Herbal Medicine: All alumni will continue to receive discounts at AOMA Herbal Medicine.
Directory Listing on AOMA Website: The alumni section of the site includes a search feature in which a patient can search for an AOMA graduate practitioner by name, city, or state. All graduates with current contact information will be listed on the site. Please email us if you need to update your contact information. You can also provide enhanced information including photos and links to your website.
Program Course Audits: AOMA is committed to life-long learning and, to that end, alumni may audit program courses. Program courses are those courses outlined in the AOMA school catalog. AOMA graduates receive one audit of a program course free per year. Additional audits of program courses cost alumni $25/credit. View course schedules.
Seminars and Continuing Education: AOMA provides the Austin area with a wide variety of speakers and opportunities for continued learning and scholarly engagement with the community. AAA members are eligible for special rates on AOMA-sponsored special seminars (non-continuing education), informal classes, and continuing education courses offered through AOMA, in addition to the annual Southwest Symposium.
Job Postings: AOMA supports alumni throughout all facets of their careers. Access to an AOMA-only job board provides options and opportunities. Over 300 positions were posted last year. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for access.
Custom AOMA Diploma Frame: Custom AOMA diploma frames are available for purchase from the Church Hill Classics website. Your frame purchase supports the AOMA Alumni Association.
- AOMA Alumni Association
The AOMA Alumni Association (AAA) serves the alumni of AOMA by actively supporting both the scholarly goals of the institution and the professional advancement of AOMA alumni. The AAA is run by and for alumni to develop and coordinate events and services The AAA operates as a liaison between the alumni, faculty, and administration and functions according to its own by-laws. All AOMA alumni are automatically members of the AAA.
AOMA Alumni Association Goals
The AAA seeks to accomplish the following goals:
- To promote the educational and professional advancement of AOMA alumni;
- To provide professional support to AOMA graduates;
- To encourage communication among the institution’s alumni and administration;
- To award annual scholarships to current AOMA students; and
- To advance the prestige of AOMA and its students and alumni.
