Sheng Zhen Gong (qigong) involves gentle movement, breath, and stillness that nurtures your awareness and a kind relationship with your body and self. This class will focus on quieting your mind, relaxing your body, and soothing your heart. This practice helps induce a relaxation response that may positively impact the body’s natural healing ability and increase your sense of balance in a seemingly stressful world. This class will review basic forms, such as Awakening the Soul and Sheng Zhen Healing Gong – Stage 1 and will teach other forms in depth helping the student who has studied for some time advance to the next level.

Francie Shimaya has been teaching Sheng Zhen Gong since 2004. In her classes Francie encourages and guides others to develop their daily practice. Not only teaching path and position of movement, but also teaching the Sheng Zhen flavors and philosophy, Francie leads the students on their path of personal healing. She has been leading the Sheng Zhen Sunday meditation group at AOMA since 2006 when Master Li is out of town. Also, she serves the Sheng Zhen community as the distributor of Sheng Zhen Products.
