Breath Empowerment is a combination of Pranayama and Qigong breathing that leaves your body humming with the vibration of healing energy while creating a deep sense of meditation and connectedness. This sacred practice from India routinely produces profound experiences in people. This is one of the most intense and powerful breathing practices you will ever experience. One of the few physical exercises you can do which increases your body’s alkalinity, this practice is extremely healing and your body will feels the vibration for much longer as you achieve levels of relaxation and overall body wellness.
Breath Empowerment for beginners is a 35-minute practice in which you’re lying on a mat or pad on the floor and being guided along by a certified instructor. There will be detailed explanation and instruction regarding Qigong Breathing and the Warrior’s Breath techniques before the practice begins; for more details visit Rebecca’s website for further preliminary explanation. Note: although this is a safe, healing practice, the breathing style is quite intense and not recommended for anyone with seizure disorders, asthma, heart disease, or who is pregnant.
Rebecca Gould is a certified Sheng Zhen Gong Teacher and Supreme Science Qigong Instructor, as well as a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She committed to practicing and studying Qigong in 2006 and has been teaching since 2008. In 2012 Rebecca moved from Seattle to Austin to study Sheng Zhen on a weekly basis with Master Li and use her writing and copy editing skills to assist the International Sheng Zhen Society. Rebecca’s students appreciate her calm demeanor and clear, detailed instruction. Breath Empowerment is one of her favorite and most popular class offerings.
