Free Intro to Taiji, Qigong, 5 Elements

This is a free introduction to the class Taiji, Qigong, 5 Elements. The creator of this taiji form is Chungliang "Al" Huang of the Living Tao Foundation. This is not a martial arts style of Tai Chi Chuan.  Chungliang was raised in China, traveling often, studying the classics of the I Ching, brush calligraphy, martial arts and taiji. Taiji is the Form we practice to cultivate Qi (chi).  The goal is to enjoy the practice! Chungliang came to America as a college student, collaborated with Alan Watts, and was a dancer in the musical, The Flower Drum Song.

NEW INSTRUCTOR: Kay Kennedy studied Tai Chi Chuan for 10 years before studying with Chungliang Huang from 1986-2000. She traveled to China twice, once with Chungliang and a second time to study a Kung Fu Tai Ji form with Master Shih Ming and a healing Qigong form at a hospital in Beijing.  She has been teaching and learning Tai Ji since the mid 1970's.  Kay is a dancer since childhood, a retired educator and counselor; a long-time seeker of holistic and alternative healing knowledge, especially of Taoism and Native American spirituality.  The Secret of Life is: We have to MOVE well; we have to BE STILL; we have to CELEBRATE LIFE and we have to EAT WELL!  Kay looks forward to sharing Tai Ji with serious and lighthearted students!
