Continuing Education Credits: 6 hours for Nurses & Massage Therapists*
Master Li Junfeng will teach Union of Three Hearts (meditation) and Heart Mind as One (qigong) during this one day workshop. Union of Three Hearts is a seated, non-moving qigong. From a place of relaxation and focus, one guides the qi along the zhongmai, the central channel between the dantian (in the abdomen) and the ni-wuan (in the center of the head). As one progresses, the act of guiding one's qi slowly transforms into the qi guiding the mind. This is a calming and nourishing experience that brings one a sense of peace and connection.
The Heart Mind as One qigong form is very effective at calming the disposition. A calm disposition is essential to ensuring that one’s qi is in harmony and is the essence of human health. Experts in the field of mind body medicine call this induced state the relaxation response, which increases your sense of balance in a seemingly stressful world and may positively impact the immune system.
This workshop is open to students of all levels.
