Please bring:  Blankets as padding. Yoga mats are provided that can be stacked up to make a mat on the floor. Blankets are for additional padding for your comfort.

Using Sensei Masunaga’s hara diagnosis* chart, we will learn to locate abdominal points to assess physical and emotional imbalances through the concept of kyo and jitsu. Treatments will include abdominal massage, paired stretches, acupressure points, and thumbing along the entire course of affected meridians.

Becoming familiar with hara assessment gives the practitioner the opportunity to bring more of a sense of refinement and depth to their Shiatsu treatment.

All participants are asked to download a hara assessment handout from my website and be familiar with it prior to workshop.

6 hours CEU credits for Texas LMTs – *This workshop does not teach diagnosis or treatment of illness or disease.
