Have you ever felt that you needed to get back to the basics in your workout? Do you feel awkward in your movement? Want to feel more aligned in your yoga?

This class includes functional and dynamic exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, balance and posture. What makes Aston® Fitness unique is its emphasis on using the underlying principles of physics to make movements dynamic and fun. This will help you feel more youthful and prevent injury as you get back to into your workouts. Grace and power are not just for professional athletes and dancers; anyone can learn these skills to improve their function. Each week we will introduce an Aston-Mechanics® concept and apply it to exercises in a way that will revolutionize how your body moves and transform your thinking about fitness. Students will be able to use this new understanding in their fitness regimen and in their everyday activities.

Instructor Bio:

Michelle Wald is passionate about helping people live in their best body. After getting her BS in Physical Therapy in 1991, Michelle has worked in orthopedics, neurological rehab, and geriatric clinical settings. She has been running her own personal practice since 2001. Michelle’s body work is focused on the whole person, prioritizing functional movement and balance. Pulling from her experience with neurological rehabilitation as well as over a thousand hours of Aston Kinetics training, Michelle practices the advanced and integrated system of Aston assessment, massage, movement coaching, fitness and ergonomics. Michelle has helped hundreds of clients reduce and alleviate pain and increase range of motion.
