5th Chakra Mandala Painting Playshop
From: August 20, 2016 at 1:00pm to: 3:30pm
SCHEDULE CHANGE: Saturday, August 20th
The fifth chakra is called “Vishudda”, which means ‘pure’ in Sanskrit. It is also known as the throat chakra because of its location in the area of the throat. The throat chakra relates to the thyroid, throat, trachea, mouth, teeth, gums and ears.
The 5th chakra supports creativity, communication, self-expression, and discernment. The throat chakra encourages the purity of our words and intentions through all forms of communication and creative expression. When this chakra is in balance we have access to authentic, truthful and confident speaking. A balanced 5th chakra supports deep listening, honest speaking, and the capacity to express ourselves without fear of what others think.
We will use the energy of creativity to stimulate and harmonize our 5th chakra through a guided inner journey of intuitive mandala painting, guided meditation practices and aromatherapy. No experience is necessary in painting or in chakra knowledge, and all supplies are provided.
