Yoga for Stress Management and Deep Relaxation
This workshop/class offers an opportunity to unwind with gentle yoga and then melt into guided deep relaxation. Tips will be provided for continuing a deep relaxation practice at home and managing the stress in your life.
A recent survey by the American Psychological Association tells us stress is up. Most Americans are dealing with moderate to high stress levels. Stress significantly affects mental and physical health and contributes to major illness such as heart disease.
Vicki is registered with Yoga Alliance as 500 RYT and as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEPP). Vicki is also certified to teach Yoga of the Heart, the yoga-based stress managment program used in Dr. Dean Ornish's "Program for Reversing Heart Disease." Vicki's background includes Kundalini, Iyengar, and Scaravelli yoga.
