Patient Testimonials

Dr.Fan works miracles! I went in for sinus problems and he performed cupping as well as acupuncture and I had instant relief. He takes his time, has a wonderful bedside manner and never rushes me, always allowing me to ask all my questions. On another occasion, I visited him for a cold and his prescription of herbs knocked it out in less than 24 hours. -Leslie

I was experiencing some GI distress and was convinced I had some kind of stomach virus. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Fan and I left the appointment feeling completely healed! Dr. Fan calmed my nerves and delivered expert therapy. He truly is a healer! I've also seen him for various running related issues, including foot pain and he has made such a difference. I am recommending him to all of my friends, I'm so thrilled to have found him! - Meg H.

I can say without reservation that receiving treatment from Yongxin Fan in the professional clinic almost two years ago was a pivitol experience in my life.  Not only was he most instrumental in quickly resolving a 'chronic' pain condition that allopathic medicine offered no resolutions for but he also influenced me to begin the practice of qigong which has had a transformative effect on me and which I continue to practice to this day.  AOMA and Dr. Fan truely turned the tide of my life. - L. Bishop

Dr. Fan is the best! He prescribed herbs that cleared my allergy/sinus issues right up.  He also helped me with pain I was having as a result of a workspace that was not very ergonomic. - V. Solwazi

My first contact with AOMA and Dr. Fan was on Friday February 10th.  I was experiencing lots of discomfort in my right arm, shoulder and neck. Because of this I was unable to sleep, had no energy and could hardly get through my days.  The very first visit I felt 75% better walking out of AOMA.  Dr. Fan sat down with me and immediately understood my problem.  Dr. Fan then did acupuncture, massage and cupping. It was unbelievable how much better I felt.  I have since been to see Dr. Fan three more times and have a fourth appointment this week and can hardly wait.  My problem was not able to be addressed with Modern Medicine and since I did not want injections they couldn’t help me.  The AOMA facility is very calming.  The staff is really helpful.  Dr. Fan is so amazing  he has  proactively addressing  other issues such as poor digestion, insomnia and starting me on dry herbs that are helping both issues.   For the first time in months I feel like I’m getting my energy back.  I truly cannot say how happy I’m and how much better I feel.  We are very blessed to have such a wonderful facility in Austin,Texas. - M. Caffrey

I have seen Dr. Fan several times for different reasons. He was never in a rush like other doctors seem to be. He listened to me, and did whatever it took to try to get me to feel better. Dr. Fan has done body work and acupuncture and cupping to help alleviate my chronic back and neck pain. I find myself coming back to him when I feel I need serious help and the pain is too much. I also find that I have a greater sense of calm after acupuncture. Thank you for giving me an alternative to turn to. I wish AOMA continued success. - R. Brenneman

I have suffered from headaches and upper back pain off and on since I was in high school and have been to many types of doctors seeking relief from it.  Among the previous treatments were Imitrex shots and pills, basic OTC meds,  birth control, muscle relaxers, PT, chiropractor visits and various diagnostic scans.  Not only did these treatments not work, the drugs prescribed left me groggy and  unable to complete daily tasks.   Now that I have three children and want an active lifestyle, having a constant migraine and/ or feeling drugged is not an option. I have been to several acupuncturists, but it wasn’t until after 2-3 treatments with Dr. Fan that my headaches went away.  Not only does my head and back feel better, I feel more energetic.  Furthermore it was an effortless process compared to the tedious appointments and regimens previously prescribed.  It has been a new life to be able to play with my kids and have fun with my friends and not feel  partly miserable with a headache!  I didn’t realize how much pain I had been dealing with each day until it went away.  I will continue seeing Dr. Fan for maintenance appointments as well as keep acupuncture as an option for many illnesses and discomforts. - Julie  H.

Dr. Fan puts you at ease right away with his calm demeanor.  I have had backache for two months, and my family doctor told me to take two Alieve pills every 12 hours for up to a couple of months.  To combat possible side effects of ulcer, he recommended me to take Prilosec every morning.  I just thought that is a lot of medicine to take.  That is when I seek help from Dr. Fan.  Several of my friends highly recommended Dr. Fan, and he did not disappoint.  After about an hour of acupuncture in the back, and cupping in my chest and upper back, I felt relieve right away.  It has been about a week since I saw Dr. Fan, I do feel I am getting better.  I still feel tightness and pain in my back, but I didn’t expect miracles.  I will definitely go back.   I like the trend. - Z.
