Saturday March 8, 10am-noon
Location: 4701 West Gate Blvd, Bldg A, AOMA Mind-Body Center
This is a qigong meditation class. Standing, sitting and lying down practices will be used. Warm- ups, partner practice, qigong and guided visual meditation will support the participants to open major energy points of the orbit and feel in harmony with life.
The microcosmic orbit refers to the (small orbit) flow of qi through the governing and conception vessel, rooted in the lower belly. Regulating this orbit of qi helps maintain stability in body and mind, influencing the spine, brain and hormonal systems. Practicing this mediation will also build reserve energy in the lower dantian. The dantian is our main battery that is located below and behind the navel. This meditation brings a sense of connection and peace within as well as balancing major energy centers.
