When are classes?
AOMA holds classes in three time blocks throughout the day: in the morning (9:30am – 12:30pm), in the afternoon (2:00pm – 5:00pm), and in the evening (6:30pm – 9:30pm). Each class is three hours long and, typically, students have classes in one or two of these blocks per day. In the fall, winter, and spring terms, each class meets once per week. Class schedules change each term, depending on faculty availability and curriculum structure and the new schedule is usually available about one month before registration.
If a student is on the accellerated path (graduating in 3 years and one term), only moderate schedule flexibility is possible. If a student intends to proceed more slowly through the program (e.g. graduating in four years), more schedule flexibility is possible. Please note enrollment in day time classes is required for program completion.
These sample schedules are based on the course offerings for a typical term. Schedules for individual students may vary based on the recommendations of AOMA's academic advisors.
