Student Health Options
AOMA offers Oriental medical services to students and their immediate family members (live-in partners, spouses, and children) at any AOMA Student Intern Clinic locations for a reduced cost. Students and their immediate family members can access acupuncture and/or herbal treatments for $15 per visit. Appointments may be scheduled at the North Clinic by calling (512) 467-0370 and at the South Clinic by calling (512) 693-4373. Or you can request an appointment online. The Student Intern Clinic hours vary from term to term depending on student registration. Students also receive discounts at AOMA Herbal Medicine on raw and powdered herbs for their personal use. Discounts rage from 15 – 35% depending on brand.
Dr. Jennifer Pollard, MD, also sees patients at the AOMA South Clinic. Dr. Pollard provides primary care for adolescents and adults with an integrative perspective. She strives to provide options for her patients that address the root causes of their issues and to offer holistic, as well as allopathic, medical approaches to managing them. She brought her practice to AOMA in 2013 so she could better apply this integrated model of care for her patients. To read more about Dr. Jennifer Pollard and to view her hours, click here.
