Community beyond the classroom. students having fun at the cureville clinic

Students come to AOMA from a wide range of backgrounds and are inspired by many different life experiences. It is this very diversity that creates the rich, vibrant campus community. Through participation in organizations, events, and activities, students create the community that will support them both during school and throughout their future professional practice. The formation of this community begins during new student orientation and continues beyond graduation.

The Student Life pages provide access to academic, financial, and social resources that can help make the AOMA students' experience rich and transformative. The Registrar's page contains the current academic calendar, course schedules/descriptions, academic forms, the clinic, student and saftey/security manuals, and registration/clinic internship information. For any and all financial aid questions, including FAFSA application, veteran's services, entrance/exit counseling, and scholarship information, visit the Financial Aid page. The Academic Support page offers students information regarding advising, the Learning Resource Center, tutoring, faculty office hours/contact information, and tech support.

For information and resources related to the campus community, including commencement, Austin-area resources, health care resources, counseling services, the AOMA Student Association, and student organizations at AOMA, please visit the Student Life page. The Professional Life page lists useful resources for planning an acupuncture practice including links to individual state acupuncture boards, accreditation agencies, licensing boards, and professional associations. Within the pages listed above, students can also find information about the China Study Tour, AOMA Herbal Medicine, and AOMA's library.
