12/11/17, PT Acupuncturist (Contractor), Cedar Park, TX

Small, local 501(c)3 non-profit Community Wellness Center seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) for Acupuncture.

Experience in a Community Acupuncture setting is preferred, but not mandatory. We also offer private/solo sessions, depending on the patient's condition & budget. Bonus is if you are trained in other therapies such as reflexology, shiatsu, electric acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.

Be part of something that is growing, pioneering, & needed in this community - affordable holistic / wellness services. Make a difference & help those that desperately need it - we welcome anyone at our center.

You would be a PART-TIME Contractor (paid per service), so you make your own schedule / hours (although we would prefer it to at least be during "peak hours" any or all of these days [Monday thru Friday, 4pm-7pm, Saturday mornings 10am-12noon]). So, you can easily have a work/life balance: family, life, another job.

We provide alot of items: room with 4-6 treatment recliners, infrared mineral lamps, treatment table (for patients who cannot "recline" or you need to needle their back, as well as for private sessions) & consultation area, bathroom, receptionist (assisting you with clients, making appts, payments, etc), payment processing, marketing (although you are encouraged to market yourself as well for more clientele), internet/phone, waiting room, conference room (if you want to do workshops or classes), kitchen (with free coffee / tea / water for you & clients), laundry & cleaning service. We also have a start-up supply of needles & herbs available, if needed. Full disclosure is that we are only a little over 1 year old, so we are still in a "ramp-up" period...although clientele is steadily increasing & why we need help.

We do have a healthy amount of advertising / marketing in various avenues. However, it would be great if you could bring-in your existing clientele &/or have an entrepreneurial spirit (getting out in the community so others can connect / bond directly with you - it's a powerful thing in folks knowing the practitioner directly & helps with "word of mouth"). Basically, we take the burden & headache of the business & cost side so you can just do what you do best. Also, since this is a full holistic wellness center, we encourage cross-referrals & optional trade-services between our therapists & practitioners (Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Counseling, etc).

For more information please visit and email with you application.
